Terms and conditions

How we work together

Last updated October 2026

Connection Points is built on trust. These terms are here so that we begin with clarity, honesty and a shared understanding of what Connection Points is, and what it is not.

These terms apply to Connection Points for Couples and Connection Points for Teams, provided by Robynne Todd in Johannesburg, South Africa. By starting a profile, paying for a profile, or booking a session or workshop, you agree to them. Where a term applies to only one of the two, it says so.

01

What Connection Points is

Connection Points is an educational tool for self understanding and growth. It describes preferences, strengths and styles, based on your own answers, so that people can understand themselves and one another better.

It is not a psychological or psychometric assessment, a clinical diagnosis, therapy or counselling for any mental health condition, and it is not a substitute for medical, psychological, psychiatric, financial or legal advice. Where something arises that falls outside this scope, I may suggest that you speak to an appropriately qualified professional.

02

Your answers and your results

Your results reflect the answers you gave at a particular moment in your life. They describe tendencies, not fixed truths, and they are never a measure of your worth, your ability or the strength of your relationship. People grow and change, and you are always more than a profile.

Please answer honestly and for yourself. The insights are only as helpful as the answers behind them.

03

No guarantees

Connection Points does not and cannot guarantee any particular outcome: not for a relationship, a marriage, a team, or an organisation. Understanding one another is a beginning. What happens next is shaped by the choices, effort and circumstances of the people involved.

04

Limitation of liability

Connection Points is provided with care and in good faith. Any decisions you or your organisation make after receiving a report, session or workshop remain your own responsibility.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Connection Points and Robynne Todd are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of a profile, report, session or workshop, and total liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the service concerned. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited under South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2008.

05

Using results in the workplace

Applies to Connection Points for Teams

Connection Points for Teams is a development tool. An organisation that engages Connection Points agrees that results will not be used for recruitment or selection, promotion, performance reviews, remuneration, disciplinary action, retrenchment or any similar decision about a person.

Taking part should be voluntary. Each person's individual report is theirs. Within a team workshop, team members may see one another's type and strengths, so that the team can learn to work well together. Organisations receive team level insight and an overview, not anyone's raw answers or scores.

06

Payment

Connection Points for Couples

The couples profile, report and session are paid in full online before you begin. Payments are processed securely by Paystack. If you paid in error and neither of you has started the profile, contact me within seven days for a full refund. Once either partner has begun, the fee is non refundable, because the work of preparing your report has started.

Connection Points for Teams

Teams engagements are quoted and invoiced to the organisation. The full amount is due on acceptance, and the access code is issued once the invoice is settled. Prices are final; Connection Points is not VAT registered.

Where an organisation chooses a monthly retainer, new team members may complete profiles using the organisation's access code for as long as the retainer is paid. If the retainer lapses, the code closes at the end of the paid period. Profiles already completed are kept in line with the privacy notice.

07

Sessions, workshops and rescheduling

Sessions and workshops take place in person or online, at a time agreed together. A session or workshop can be moved free of charge with five working days' notice. For teams, later cancellations are charged at 50% of the workshop fee. For couples, a missed session without notice may be treated as delivered.

Online sessions depend on internet connections and platforms outside my control. If a session is disrupted by technical problems, we will find another time together.

I reserve the right to end a session or decline to continue working with anyone where respect, boundaries or safety are compromised.

08

Confidentiality

What you share is held with care and discretion. For couples, your report is shared only with the two of you. For teams, individual answers are not shared with your employer.

Disclosure would only ever be considered where required by law, or where there is a genuine concern for someone's safety.

09

Your personal information

Your information is handled in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013. Our privacy notice explains what we collect, why, how it is stored, how long it is kept and your rights.

10

Our materials

The questionnaires, reports, workshop materials and the Connection Points name and logos belong to Connection Points. Your own report is yours to keep and use personally. Organisations may use team materials internally for the teams that took part, but may not copy, resell or adapt the questionnaire or materials.

11

Changes and governing law

These terms may be updated from time to time. The version on this page when you begin a profile or accept a proposal is the one that applies to you. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
